Resiestrela has obtained certification for its Integrated Quality, Environment and Safety Management System, according to the main normative references (NP EN ISO 9001:2008, NP EN ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007).

It assumed responsibility for the management, valorization and treatment of Municipal Solid Waste produced by the municipalities of Almeida; Belmonte; Celorico da Beira; Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo; Fornos de Algodões; Fundão; Guarda; Manteigas; Meda; Penamacor; Pinhel; Sabugal and Trancoso.
